Samuel L Jackson on this Ebony cover remake
be looking more like Lex Luthor than MLK
This is one of the best Superman redesigns I’ve ever seen. It’s not as majestic, and maybe it’d feel out of place in the Justice League…but damn, it’s so good!
You can’t ever really have a quality Superman design without a cape, but this is the closest you can come without it, I think
THIS IS A PSA

I work in 911 & just tested this app to see how it works. The important thing to know about this is that it just creates an open 911 line with your cellphone, meaning that the center will get a regular 911 phone call and depending on your circumstances they most likely won’t know if this call is really an emergency or a (super common) pocket dial. If you have an emergency and are able to, try to speak about something that would identify your location. The 911 Center who handles your call won’t know how the call started and your exact location will not be transmitted to them automatically. We are able to try and pick it up using your phone’s GPS signal but that’s only slightly accurate. Therefore, if there’s no real clue that something is wrong & the investigating officers can’t find you after conducting a reasonable search then this might not be super helpful to you.
The mathematical side of this can be explained with the time dilation formula. If you were to plug in the speed of light as the velocity, the outcome of the formula would be infinity. In other words, if a particle is travelling the speed of light, for any amount of time an observer experiences the particle experiences 1/∞ of that time, which is essentially zero.
I like my women how I like my clouds - beautiful and big and threatening.
I will wake up at three AM
And I will roll over
Into your arms.
You will rub my back
Until I fall back to sleep.
I will wait for that.
The “Keep Calm and Carry On” poster that launched millions of profoundly vacuous parodies is seventy-five years old today—but it was only first seen in 2001. The British Treasury refrained from printing it during World War II because they thought “the phrase was ‘too commonplace to be inspiring … it may even annoy people.’” Prescient.
